U.S. Senate | U.S. House | State Senate | Assembly | Constitutional amendments

THE DISTRICT

This safe Republican district covers most of northern and northwestern Wisconsin.

THE NUTSHELL

Incumbent U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Hazelhurst, is seeking a third full term in the U.S. House. First elected to Congress in a May 2020 special election, Tiffany previously spent a decade serving in the state Legislature. In December 2020, Tiffany was one of 126 GOP House members to sign onto an amicus brief submitted in support of a U.S. Supreme Court case contesting the results of the 2020 presidential election. Tiffany faces Democrat Kyle Kilbourn, of Harshaw, who is campaigning on creating “a health care system where everyone can get the care they need, when they need it, without having to worry about a bill.” Tiffany is favored to win re-election due to the partisan composition of the district.

PRIMARY RESULTS

Kilbourn defeated Duanceau by a double-digit margin and faces Tiffany who didn’t have a primary opponent.
