No.

Joan Ellis Beglinger, an Independent candidate for Wisconsin governor, ended her campaign Sept. 4, 2022 — too late to remove her name from the Nov. 8 ballot.

Beglinger endorsed Republican candidate for governor Tim Michels and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ron Johnson.

Beglinger’s website, beglingerforgovernor.com, clearly states that she endorsed other Republican candidates in the race.

However, a different website under the name joanforwisconsin.com urges voters to vote for Beglinger, not Michels. The website was paid for by Wisconsin RINO (Republicans in Name Only) Hunters.

Other voters got text messages and mailings urging them to vote for Beglinger. FOX6 News Milwaukee reported those communications came from the Liberty Group, which has the same address as the RINO Hunters.

Beglinger said in a Nov. 4 Facebook update that such efforts are “trying to deceive Wisconsin conservatives into voting for me.” She reiterated that she is not running and supports Michels.
