THE DISTRICT

The 67th Assembly District covers a largely rural area in parts of Menomonie, Dunn and Chippewa counties along with the entirety of Barron County and is a likely Republican seat.

THE NUTSHELL

Incumbent Rep. David Armstrong, R-Rice Lake, faces Democrat Jeffrey Foster of Colfax. Armstrong has been a member of the Assembly since 2021. In 2020, it was reported that Armstrong had a history of promoting QAnon conspiracy theories on social media and shared a racist video featuring former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke. Armstrong is favored to win due to the partisan composition of the district.

PRIMARY RESULTS

Armstrong soundly won the Democratic primary and will face Foster who was uncontested.
