THE DISTRICT

The district encompasses Green County and is located in southern Wisconsin including the cities of New Glarus and Monroe. It is a likely Democratic district.

THE NUTSHELL

Rep. Jenna Jacobson, D-Oregon, faces Republican challenger Rich Johnson. Jacobson took office in 2023 representing the 43rd District. She has prioritized working on public education and co-authoring bills to fund schools, support rural communities, incentivize new farmers and fund childcare. She also previously served on the Oregon Village Board. Johnson has not posted public information on policies he supports. Jacobson is favored to win due to the Democratic tilt of the district.
