This district covers the eastern region of Oconto County and extends slightly into Brown County, northwest of Green Bay. It’s a safe Republican district.

THE NUTSHELL

Rep. David Steffen, R-Howard, faces Democrat Jane Benson of Suamico. She is marking her second run for Assembly after losing to Elijah Behnke in 2022 in the 89th District. Steffen was first elected to the Assembly in 2014. Given the strong Republican tilt of the district, it will be an uphill battle for Benson.

PRIMARY RESULTS

Steffen will face Benson after both soundly defeated their opponents.
