THE DISTRICT

This district includes Green Lake, Marquette, and Fond du Lac County communities. It is a safe Republican seat.

THE NUTSHELL

Republican incumbent Rep. Alex Dallman, R-Green Lake, faces Democrat Chris Gordon, a career teacher and school administrator. Dallman is favored to win given the partisan slant of the district. Dallman currently represents the 41st Assembly District, but with the new maps will run for the 39th. He wants to continue reducing taxes, increasing a skilled workforce and strengthening agricultural sectors in his district. Gordon listed on her website she wants to boost local economies, clean water and educational funding. She also wants to work toward universal healthcare and more affordable housing.

PRIMARY RESULTS

Dallman and Gordon both advanced. Neither faced a primary opponent.
