THE DISTRICT

This district includes St. Croix County along with parts of western Dunn County and northeast Pierce County. It is a safe Republican seat.

THE NUTSHELL

Rob Kreibich, executive director of New Richmond’s Chamber of Commerce, who previously served as a state representative for 14 years, will face Democrat Danielle Johnson in the general election. Given the heavy Republican slant of the district, Kreibich is a heavy favorite to win.

PRIMARY RESULTS

Kreibich eked out a win over Penfield and will face Danielle Johnson in the general election.
