This district covers Wauwatosa, Brookfield and Elm Grove. It leans Democratic.

THE NUTSHELL

Rep. Tom Michalski, R-Elm Grove, faces Rep. Robyn Vining, D-Wauwatosa, who currently represents the 14th district. Michalski wants to work on law enforcement reform by ensuring the judicial system is held accountable for enforcing the law. Vining is focused on public education funding, reproductive rights and mental health. The district leans Democratic and could be a pickup for Democrats trying to win an Assembly majority.

PRIMARY RESULTS

Michalski soundly defeated a primary challenger and will face Vining who was uncontested.
