THE NUTSHELL

Rep. Lee Snodgrass, D-Appleton, faces Republican Chad Cooke, who ran for Outagamie County Board in 2021, is a veteran and former Corrections officer who advertises himself as change maker who wants to educate citizens on local government decisions and how committees work. He said he stands for a transparent but limited government and is a supporter of law enforcement, first responders and correction officers. Snodgrass, who took office in 2021, has fought against conversion therapy in the state, supports mental health and sports participation for Wisconsin’s LGBTQ+ youth. The district’s partisan makeup favors Snodgrass.

PRIMARY RESULTS

Snodgrass and Cooke both advanced. Neither faced a primary opponent.
