THE DISTRICT

This suburban Milwaukee seat encompasses portions of South Milwaukee and Oak Creek. This is a toss-up seat.

THE NUTSHELL

Rep. Jessie Rodriguez, R-Oak Creek, who was first elected to the Assembly in November 2013, could be at risk of losing her seat in this Democratic-leaning toss-up district. Rodriguez, who serves as a Republican member of the powerful Joint Finance Committee, faces a challenge from Democrat David Marstellar. Marstellar is a businessman and health care advocate.

PRIMARY RESULTS

Both Rodriguez and Marstellar advanced. Neither candidate had a contested primary.
